I observed Supreme Painting working on my neighbors home and noticed they found a problem with a piece of wood trim that had rotted and needed to be replaced. They brought it to my neighbors attention, and fixed it by replacing the wood and installing a flashing to prevent any further water damage. After researching the company on Angie’s List , I met with the owner, Dalton Tomlinson, to obtain a quote for the work that needed to be done at my home. This work included sanding, priming and painting 31 wood windows with external grills, 4 doors (including a front entry door), and 2 gable vents. The window sills on two sides of the house required a lot of sanding due to direct exposure to the sun and weather. Priming was done with Sherwin Williams Exterior Oil Base paint. The entire surfaces were primed, rather than just spot primed. Sherwin Williams Emerald Exterior Acrylic Latex paint was used for the finish coat. The iron work included a driveway gate, 2 pedestrian gates, and a 10′ by 21′ dog kennel with 8′ sides next to the garage. The kennel had a lot of rust and required a lot of work to remove it and then apply the paint. The entire job was completed within two weeks, including a loss of several days of work due to weather.
Dalton Tomplinson started his company in 1985 with one purpose…to “make every customer a customer for life.” I am now one of these customers. He gave me great advice on the selection of colors for the finish coat that really improved the appearance of my home. I am very happy with the workmanship and professionalism of everyone who did the work on my home. Check out his website at www.supremepainting.com or give him a call at 817 457-9353.
